Dual Beam-SEM Engineer -- Sunnyvale, CA

EAG is looking for a hard-working individual who will be responsible for delivering high quality FIB-SEM Dual Beam (DB) data to customers. Must balance customer needs and EAG priorities to ensure client satisfaction and our company’s success. This position is M-F on the swing shift.

Essential Job Functions: Using Dual Beam FIB/SEM and other equipment, perform experiments on customer samples to meet their requirements. The work may be performed on samples that have been dropped off or client-present work. Typical job flow requires: Communication with clients about incoming requests; critically evaluate customer requests, quote work, organize data, and prepare summary reports to communicate results to clients. Acquire data to ensure proper functioning/calibration of tools. May be requested to support TEM team in preparing samples using DB.

Job Requirements: BS or MS in Chemistry, Physics, or Materials Science.Experience using a FIB or SEM preferred but we are willing to train an excellent candidate. Essential skills: Problem solving, work independently and multitasking. Excellent communication skills both written and verbal. EOE

Senior SEM/FIB Dual Beam Engineer -- Sunnyvale, CA

EAG is looking for an experienced engineer who is a  hard-working individual to be responsible for delivering high quality FIB-SEM Dual Beam (DB) data to customers.  Must balance customer needs and EAG priorities to ensure client satisfaction and our company’s success.  This position is M-F on the swing shift.

Job Requirements: BS or MS in Chemistry, Physics, EE, Materials Science or other engineering or science field. At least 2 years of hands on experience running an FEI dual beam at expert level. Failure Analysis Engineer -- Irvine, CA

We are looking for a Failure Analysis Engineer who can help us meet our customers' goals. Responsibilities for this role include initial consultation with customers to define the device's problem, developing and executing analyses, and communicating results. This is a hands-on position that will require both performing analysis and leveraging other EAG colleagues' efforts. The ideal candidate will be energetic and enthusiastic and have a strong sense of responsibility. This position requires a solid technical foundation, 5+ years of experience and a BS in electrical engineering.

In addition to excellent FA skills, hands on experience with curve trace, light emission microscopy, IR microscopy, various laser injection techniques, microprobing, SEM, deprocessing, IC test and other related FA tools are necessary. Excellent English communication skills (written and spoken), a strong work ethic with a commitment to accuracy and the ability to work to deadlines in a team oriented environment are essential. EOE

Scanning Acoustic Microscopy Expert and Materials Analysis Engineer -- Irvine, CA

We are looking for an Engineer who can help us meet our customers' goals.  Responsibilities for this role include independently working with external customers in drafting efficient customer work requirements and completing the stated tasks in a timely manner. This is position will require that you independently perform hands-on microelectronic device package scanning acoustic microscopy and materials analyses.  Expertise must include SAM. The ideal candidate would also have experience with related materials analysis and characterization tools and techniques. Prepare effective analysis reports with accurate and detailed data. Provide technical advice and/or direction to other analysts on team projects. The ideal candidate will be energetic and enthusiastic and have a strong sense of responsibility. This position requires a solid technical foundation, 5 yrs hands-on materials analysis laboratory environment/experience and a BS in Materials Science or equivalent.

In addition to excellent materials analysis skills, you must have knowledge of materials analysis concepts, techniques, and methods, knowledge/familiarity with process related to FAB, Package, Reliability, strong problem solving skills, high level of independent judgment, self-motivated, work independently, ability to multi-task and be quality oriented. Must be able to demonstrate high level of technical and professional skills. Communicate effectively (verbal and written) both with peers and external customers. Familiarity and knowledge of computers and Windows based software. A strong work ethic with a commitment to accuracy and the ability to work to deadlines in a team oriented environment are essential. FTIR, Raman, GCMS Scientist -- Sunnyvale, CA

This position requires a solid technical foundation and a minimum of four years hands-on experience in one or more of the following techniques: FTIR, Raman, GCMS.  An MS degree (minimum) in chemistry is required. A strong background in organic chemistry is also required. Essential are excellent English communication skills (both written and spoken), multitasking ability, a strong work ethic with a commitment to accuracy and the ability to work to deadlines in a team oriented environment. Also necessary are impeccable customer service skills.    

Responsibilities include operating analytical instrumentation, developing surface analysis protocols, interpreting data, writing reports and communicating with clients. The ideal candidate will be energetic and enthusiastic with demonstrated skills in running FTIR, Raman and/or GCMS instruments. EOE

Senior RF Test Engineer – Santa Clara, CA

We are looking for a Senior RF Test Engineer who can help us meet our customers’ goals. In this position, you will be responsible for ATE test program development of complex RF SOC Receivers, Transmitters, and transceivers from the initial development stage through new product introduction and LVM production ramp. Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to: Develop ATE RF SOC test and characterization programs. Develop and implement test plans on ATE from device specifications, and target standards. Act as the technical lead for RF test development. Correlate device parameters between bench and ATE measurements.  Work to enhance production yields and reduce cost of test. Interface with Design engineering to understand and resolve device characterization. Act as pre-sales interface with customer during initial discovery stage. Help generate quotes and estimate development times based on provided specs and protocols. Transfer production programs to offshore subcontract manufactures and provide necessary support to subcontractors. This position requires a solid technical foundation, 8+ years of job related experience and a BS or MS in electrical engineering.

In addition to excellent RF skills, experience developing SW/HW for RF SOC products on ATE platforms. Experience developing and debugging test measurements for RF receiver parametric tests – including 802.11 xxx specifications. Experience with ATE tool platforms (such as Catalyst and Verigy 93K or similar tester platforms).  Programming experience in C, C++, UNIX, Linux.  Experience with Teradyne CAT or FLEX RF ATE or Verigy Portscale systems, developing scripts with awk, python, perl or other scripting language a plus. Self motivated, highly organized professional capable of working with minimal supervision. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. A strong work ethic with a commitment to accuracy and the ability to work to deadlines in a team oriented environment are essential. EOE
